I've been loving having this project in the studio. Both are floor pieces 44" & 48" diameter.
 This is the fabulous ring saw that makes my life better. And despite the warning sticker it is not easy to cut fingers off with a wet saw. They are best for cutting hard objects (though fingernails can get nicked if you aren't careful!).
 Tonight is the last ArtWalk for the season. Please join us at the McPhie cabinetry showroom for drinks and a look at my messy studio! Big Timberworks' design studio is hosting and there will be hor d'oevres from the lovely Aga.
 I built a hanging system so pieces can be easily changed around.  travertine with stained glass inlay.  smalti.
