It has been a great project. I can't wait to see it (& get photos of it ) in its new home.

The Book Bench is the result of a private commission for a piece of furniture to celebrate a lifelong educator's love for books. It will be placed in a private garden to encourage the reader or writer to think and dream.
The client chose some of her favourite Montana authors, both well-known, and local to the small mountain community in which she lives. It has been fantastic to bring ideas of art, literacy and community together in this project.

For the next two weeks the Book Bench can be viewed in the McPhie Cabinetry showroom at 435 E. Main, Bozeman. The Thirsty Lake Tileworks studio is also at this location. We will be open for ArtWalk on Friday the 9th of September. Come meet the artist and check out this great piece before it is delivered to its final home.
